I echo the thanks to the organizers for volunteering countless hours to allow me to meet a lot of great people eat a lot of food and of course fish all for two great causes. Can't wait for next years event.

I also want to praise the extra creativity this year... the flyers and the raffle prizes were really done well. I also really liked the 'live' thread that Mike was doing. Really puts the bar higher! Way to Go!

As my first tournament event, this was a great experience for me. It was great meeting and conversing with many of you! Thank you all for being a very welcoming group, and thank you event organizers for putting together an awesome event for a great cause!

Great tournament . It seems to get better organized with each passing year. Looking forward to next year already! It was absolutely fantastic to see more ladies attend this years' event. Fishing is the one sport where everyone is/can be equal so I hope to see more ladies next year. The fact that this tournament supports " Make a Wish Foundation" is icing on the cake. Thanks to all of volunteers.

Wow! Thanks to everyone that came out and all your support! Here it is Monday and my first opportunity to get on the forum and... I'm humbled by all the kind words. So glad that those who came out had a great time. Mike, Bryan, Martin, Ryan and, Michael worked hard. It showed, didn't it? Your participation is a difference maker for our local MidAtlantic Make-a-Wish Foundation chapter AND the local Coastal Conservation Association of Maryland! YOUR kids. YOUR fish.

Those that couldn't, we'll see you next year. It's not a tournament. It's the Ultimate Meet & Greet!!! :-)

I am in the same boat with dsiekman, I a new kayaker 1 yr and first tournament.. even though I didn't catch nothing, I got to meet some awesome people. For one who is six years new to MD, I now have FRIENDS!!!! I shout out to Dzy for all her hospitality how she worked hard for all of us to eat and DaddyG for them smoked bacon wrap jalapenos.. mmmm. Goody, Martin, Kitkat, great hugs to you guys. Got some good advice and loved Goody's anal retentiveness lol. "Gorilla tape!!!!" inside joke. I got to stay all 3 days and the cabins were awsome to for an outdoors person like myself. I hope more years to come. Hopefully a better yak next year to.

Also, thank you Tom Brown for intruducing me to an angler's paradise by kayaking. IF it wasn't for him last year I don't think I would have one this year.
