Doesn't the park close at sunset?

What park? I launch at harbor hospital and go way up river. I don't see any signs in the river that say don't go here after dark. Plus people live in the woods over there.

I'm pretty sure southwest park closes at dark but I seen people shore fishing there way after dark the other day

Big cats and little tiny stripers are in there though. I got two channel cats over ten pounds the other night, a short and a white cat

the yellow perch are in heavy right now as well.

southwest does close at dusk... trust me ive been locked in... in january.. and a low tide got the center console stuck in the upper pond.. and had to jump in 34 degree water to push it out.

crappie and bass and big cats are in right now, smaller stripper will be ALL OVER the river and in the ponds chasing bait

It gets. Rreeeaaallllyy shallow at low. Some of the river is about a foot

I didnt get skunked folks.. Went during high tide which was around noon.. was an awsome day for me. My goal was to catch finally large mouth bass and I ended up catching 3 small ones 2 were under 12 in and one 16 in.. so it wasnt bad for me.. its close to home so the change from going to the bay to just down the street was fine for me. hope to see more peeps possible sunday there or somewhere else.
