I am very hesitant to push my luck even in the fairly protected waters around the mouth of the Wicomico River empties into the Potomac- 15 gusting to 25 NW in a kayak a mile out in the Bay...hummm...newbie kayaker with three trips total...that doesn't sound like a prudent decision to me.
