I don't have a hog trough yet, can I just use a tape measure?
Order one. Austin canoe and kayak or kayakfishinggear.com should have them. We kinda have to have a standard measuring device to keep everything fair when money is on the line.
I plan to get one, next week. That combined with the fact I don't have good dry-clothes yet leads me to believe I will have to wait until next year to participate in any meaningful way.
People who use the word "literally" wrong literally kill me.
So once we submit that is it, or can we update if we get something bigger? I don't expect any larger stripers where I fish most of the time until much closer to the deadline. Going to be tough...I am not expecting to exceed 60" on two fish.
Are these updates posted on 1 fish alone? I am going to be closer to those numbers on 2 fish combined most likely unless I fish somewhere else.

It's a total length of two fish. Yes you can continuously upgrade your fish throughout the month.
What's holding people back from signing up? Would more people sign up for these types of challenges if we allowed any standard measuring device? Or if the cost was only $10?
Give me some feedback here so we can hopefully get more people involved in the next event next month.
