  • Summer OC/Assateague Fishing

I have confirmed that I will be managing a Kayak/Sail/SUP business for the summer along with my college roommate. It's located before the bridge to Assateague Island on the left..

    http://www.islandadventurekayaking.com

So when your in OC or Assateague for vacation come check us out, bring your kayak and launch from our location (only charge is parking, it's state property, only like $3). If your family wants to join we have plenty of rentals and other activities.

Sailing is the hot ticket!!! If you've never done you should give it a try with us it's an awesome experience.

Also, I'm thinking about putting together a weekend where we can get as my MKF guys down at the site for a friendly fishing session.

I've attached an advertisement with a coupon and some pics!!!

        Fishing trip for us

Thanks, Matt...when you get more detail worked out on a possible group fishing trip, count me in. I always wanted to fish that area for its famous doormat flounders...

Definitely fishing located right off our beach, not a far paddle. The bridge is just to our right for some structure fishing. I fished there once last summer while visiting my friend and caught croaker, spot, and something else can't remember the name (black and white stripes), but that was just messing around. I can imagine that flounder would be pretty good there as its a little further from OC and less fished by the head boats.

I often drift from the inlet all the way to the bridge. There are flounder at the bridge but not much further south than that. If you have a second vehicle you can leave it at the marina at Gold Course Rd. and Sunset. It is a really nice drift from Matt's place to the inlet on the outgoing or vice versa.

I caught some small Sea Bass and a sunburn. It was very windy the day i fished and full of weeds. I had one good flounder hit but pulled it out of its mouth. I always forget to let them eat when dragging a big strip of squid.

Congradulations, you are one of the fortunate ones, heard a report that 86% of this years college graduates are moving back home and many of them don't have a job.

My wife and I are planning a trip down in the next couple weeks to try out some sailing, see you then.
