Other than work and other family obligations, our biggest problem is the wind (and it's direction). Is the wind going to pick up? Is it going to be gusty? Wave heights at the buoy are only kind of helpful. Lately I've been turning to the following:

I've found it to be remarkably accurate.

Unfortunately late this week and next week looks a little dicey.

I use windfinder usually. The wind predictions are usually pretty good, but wave height predictions for places like cbbt are usually way off. It was calling for 3-4' waves all last weekend, but conditions ended up being pretty flat.

That is pretty good. I also use Intellicast Weather and Intellicast Boating. They give up to a 10 day forecast, which usually will adjust the closer to the actual date. They are very accurate.

Damn it! This weekend looks terrible and the fish seem to be biting pretty much everywhere.

Wind looks bad Friday afternoon through Tuesday. Going to make the most of it tomorrow and Friday morning.
