Topwater action

I put together a quick video of some recent topwater action from the kayak. Some of the strikes are very explosive and I had to share. Hope you like it.

It was a blast! Now is probably one of the best times of the year to catch stripers on surface plugs. Try early and late in the day for best results, overcast skies help too. Goodluck!

It might be hard to tell from the video but I was walking the dog with a spook.
