Hey man check that tog report on here I put up, there is a great link a youtube video and it shows the launch. The kipto launch is super easy if you can use the ramp when it's not busy but the beach launch isn't bad either if you have someone to help you carry it or have some of the big beach wheels.

I was talking to some guys at the tournament in NYC this weekend, bull reds are definitely in, flounder should be showing up thicker in the next few weeks, and fisherman island might be worth checking out for puppy drum. It's a hike down there but it is definitely an awesome experience. I hope you get to make the trip and it will make you a lot more comfortable about going there when the big rock are in when it cools down in November/December.

Better late than never... I made a trip to Kipto before buying my yak and it seems like a great spot. Heard about it on kayakkevin.com after watching some of his youtube clips. Guys have been catching stripers over 40lbs on eels and some cut baits. Now that I have my yak, I plan on going back soon for a couple days.
