It looks like Rod and Reel Marina West?

Thanks, Pinch. The image gave me something I could work with as regards to directions. I assume we're meeting at the Rod and Reel Marina West?

Wonder if I could get my PA up on the water slide at the Water Park next door. I could ride it down like a toboggon.

When you exit off of Rt4 on to 260, there's a bait shop right there. Its on the left hand side in the lil strip mall just past the BP gas station.

I dont have a VHF radio...just my cell phone

                        Thanks memory maker

. . . I was toying with the idea but you saved me from myself. Interesting that weather.com hasn't reported the sightings.

Im at a midway rendezvous point now getting updated weather. MemoryMaker, thanks for the call. Much appreciated having people looking out for ya! I see the weather that hit Queen Annes county, its headed NE.

After a check of the weather here, I'm gonna go ahead and cancel. I think thats the safest decision. Looking at the weather, I can see whats going on pretty clearly. It's one of those hit-or-miss type affairs, with localized cells of heavy/severe conditions. One just passed me here in College Park and is moving to the northeast. Its actually sunny here in College Park now only a few minutes after torrential downpours. There are more patches of bad weather moving across the area. It's too spotty to chance it out there on the kayaks. As the night falls, the chance of thunderstorms is forcasted to increase. It's not worth the risk.

Thanks again to MemoryMaker for the call. Our plan was to keep this outing a "go" until mother nature indicated otherwise. I think today mother nature has a full house to our two pair. (She'd been bluffing these past couple of evenings...)

Yeah I'm bugging out too. Weather this spring sucks. I'm not worried about the rain... but the wind and lightning are another thing.

Yep...exactly what foursteps & mytmouse and I said. We dont care about getting wet...but throw thunderstorms in the mix...not worth it.

I got the yak all buttoned up. Headed home for some bonus time with the wife and baby.
