Nice catch, Shady. How did Chex and Redfish do? CBBT was "just OK" yesterday.

Glad you're trying toad. Too many people won't even try them. I found them to be tasty. A lot of bones on the small ones, but tasty.

Nice catch Shady on the Togs. My wife keeps telling me that I need to get her more Tog. Well we will see. Let me know how you like the Tufnik Toadfish when you try it...

And I found a fish inside one of the tog. Thought they only ate shellfish... looks like some type of Blenny?

I caught 2 keepers (16.75"&18.5") and two others that were 14"&15". Pretty slow day down there unlike normal when there are lots of small tog around. I think the cold is pushing them to migrate to deeper water already.

Way to make the few fish willing to chew count!

Agreed. I kept a a few earlier this fall. I was laughed at too when I put them in the cooler, but who cares... I was eating fresh fish that night! Of course the people laughing already had some tog in the cooler for themselves...
