Could I ask what size jigs were you using?

I was using 2" pearl powerbait grubs on a 1/32oz jig head. Tied as a double dropshot about 1 foot apart with a 1/2oz sinker to stay on the bottom. We were also using minnows on a bottom rig

See photo. I was using the same size I think but in chartreuse. You'd likely do well with anything small and minnow or grass shrimp like. The stomach contents of my keepers all had partially digested minnows, insects, and one baby bluegill.

I might have a chance to get out for a couple of hours tomorrow. Any chance you guys could PM me where you were catching them?

Where you headed. I'd like to put my kayak in for the first time. I was thinking Mariner, if guys are still catching them there.

I still need to grab a few safety items. What do you keep on board?

We are still working out the location. Originally, it was the Susky at 9am....but the river flow is strong @ 70,000 cfs till noon. Other possibilities are Mariner Point or north east river. Safety items, I'm a minimalist...pdf, whistle, flag, bilge pump
