got here yesterday around 6pm started fising at 0530, pretty slow but looked good with a lot of fog and a se breeze. hooked up to a 4' doggy that gave a good tug around 0630 then around 8 hooked into a 3.5' sand tiger shark. glad i looked at the eyes and mouth and saw som sharp little teeth because sometimes i will lip a dog fish, they have no teeth. that was fun got a px will post later.

fished 6th st around 10 lost 3 rigs then something big ate my squid and took off no stopping it drag screaming, palmed the reel to slow it nit the 20# flouro leader broke think it was a very large ray.

heading back to the surf now 300pm until 5 to catch the in coming tide.

Sounds fun. I'd like to try fishing that area some time, but it's almost a 3 hour drive each way. Maybe I'll do a 3 day weekend trip sometime soon. Where's a good spot to launch from with a kayak?

caught a couple more dogfish and plenty of clear nose rays in the surf, nothing from the inlet but only fished 0500 till 0700 with an arsenal of top water and metal for blues, some guys having luck with tog but shorts.

took my wife on the bay bee sunday had a great time but only shorts for us, almost won the pool 85.00 as i had the first fish but a kid snagged a 20" keeper that won the pool

some pixs of the shark and the croaker that was bait

theres a little launch on the isle of write, and down by the bridge to assatigue where matt is, i dont launch in OC too may nutjobs for me. i go mostly to lewes delaware and hit the canal or chsp much less boat traffic and less current
