Eastern Shore creeks iced over?

It's supposed to get to 47 degrees on Wednesday and I was thinking about trying to launch on the Tuckahoe at Hillsboro to try for some pickerel and maybe some yellow perch. Does anybody know if the Eastern Shore creeks are completely iced over? I wouldn't mind breaking through some ice to get on the water, but it's a long drive to find that I can't get on the water at all.

Is Hillsboro on 404?

The 'Ho at 404 is open. No ice at all as of today at 7am or so.

Head further down the shore and the less likely to find any ice and warmer the water. The lower tributaries always get started before the mid and upper shore.

Hillsboro is off of Rt. 404. If you are coming from the western shore, take first right (Cemetery Rd) after you pass the Royal Farms and Shell Station. Its a dirt road. If you have a Prius or something else really dainty, you can go up to the next road at the red light . Whichever you decide, take a right onto Main St. and the ramp will be down approx. 1 mile on your left.
