Cold Water Emersion Test

I decided to do something a little bit different on my 60th Birthday. I decided to try out my dry suit and insulated attire at Jean Roberts Park on Feb 4, 2015. I also tried out my GoPro for the first time.
Even though I was only in the water for a little over 2 minutes, It was a successful swim. The only thing I forgot to do was to burp the air out of the suit. Notice the HULK arms, when I was getting out of the water. The NRS Maverick Gloves did leak but my hands were not cold until I got out of the water. I had on NRS Boundry boots, that did get some water in them but my feet were dry and warm. I did not feel any cold come through the suit. I had Cabela polar weight base layer under my Kokata Meridian Dry suit.

I was looking for a Go Pro Hero 3 Black and could not find one. Went to Cabelas and found a open box Hero 4 Black in the discount hut. Marked down to $338. There was another 20% off for a yellow discount day, and got another 10% store wide electronic discount. So by the time I got all the discounts I got a Hero 4 black for $260. I walked out with a smile.
