    These are some of the Xraps I troll. All are Sxr12's....I dressed my own hooks for a better presentation. I size down in late spring and summer.

      I use freshwater version for specks......I re-hook every month or so. Black nickle hooks are very inexpensive on ebay

        I can't wait to try the x-raps out. My 12 year old daughter picked me up a couple because they were "pretty". She may be on to something.

          Tube and worm!! OK...I'm a northern guy, so tube and worm is still a very productive lure in the rocky waters that I fish.



          One of the best all-around lures that I've found is the Yo Zuri Crystal Minnow. Caught lots of bass and blues with that.

            Do you run any weight ahead of it to get it down?

                  I almost always run a keel weight, even in shallower water. I use either 3/8 or 1/2 oz egg sinker on a keel weight in front of the tube.
