    Even the video left me skeptical, especially when they say he only spent 40 minutes bringing it in, but Wikipedia says they can get up to 13' and 880lbs!

    Anyone want to take a trip to Italy?

    if this is the largest caught on rod and reel how are they normally caught? Tow truck?

      LOL I just saw that video before logging onto here. Smells fishy... (pun intended) The fish didn't move at all throughout the entire video.

        There were subtle movements around the fin, but i never saw the mouth move. They definitely did a poor job proving it was alive in that video.

            Noodling LOL... I saw another video of a different catfish of the same kind. That fish also didnt move once it was pulled into the boat. So I guess the above video is real.
