Hello all,
The new South River Farms Park in Anne Arundel County is open tomorrow/Sunday 3/22/15 from 10 am to 2 pm for Maryland Day:

Directions: Take Route 2 south of Annapolis. Turn left/east on MD214/Central Avenue. Turn left on Loch Haven at the BP gas station. Go ~1.4 miles. Ignore the "Private Community" sign. Turn right at the brand new South River Farms Park sign. Go ~1/3 mile to visitor parking.
South River Farms Park has 170 acres of woods and meadow, 2 tidal ponds, trails through the woods and 300 yards of sandy beach. There are portapotties. There is no indoors at this park. You're going to get your feet muddy and maybe wet if you cross the mouth of the east tidal pond (low tide ~ 1:30 pm)
Bring your kids, your grandkids, your dog (on a leash, please) and explore our newest park.
This park was 30 years in the making. See you there.
