  • 6 Year old girls kayak stolen...

Good people here guys.. This poor little girl walked out of the house to put some more stickers on here kayak, and some POS had stolen it... Her parents are on a pretty tight budget and cant afford to replace it on their own. If you can help her at all they would be very grateful.

I wonder if this is Real. I would like to think it's real.
Over the past several days it has shown up on several kayaking websites, There is no date on it. is it current or old post brought back ?
When I googled it I can only find the same add asking for donations. Nothing else no police report or news paper article or anything. At least the phone number may come back to some where in Florida. and or India
Sorry but I am not donating to anything that I can't verify. To many scams out there these days. I don't wont to donate to some ones free ride.

If this is real give me something to verify.

They are almost there already, and I have to agree, plus the picture of a six year kid standing in a SINK kayak with no life jacket on and a mad bomber hat indicates they should ask for more for the PFD......jack

It was real and they are very grateful for the kindness of everyone that helped. Sometimes it's easier to believe and help out with 5 or 10 bux and have some faith in people... I guarantee it will make you feel better in the end than trying to prove everything is a scam. I don't know them personally either, but I was happy to show a little faith in people and it felt great to believe I was helping out. It's a shame it's gotten so bad that we have to be so skeptical of everyone that asks for help.

You know you're right. It is sad that more and more people, including myself, are becoming skeptical and losing trust in their fellow man. We have every right to be with all the insanity that the devil is spawning around us. Unfortunately, if we give in to the negativity that he is purposely creating around us then we submit to him instead of submitting to God.

We should have faith and follow our internal consciousness of doing the right thing. I'm speaking first and foremost about myself. My wife always reminds me that there is a chance of good in there somewhere. My job requires me to question and verify everything which unfortunately rubs off too often on my personal life. National and International events haven't helped either with putting trust in my fellow man.

What you propose is a very commendable process. By limiting the risk to a small amount that you would have blown on incidentals, you are allowing yourself the chance to put faith back into doing the right thing and not worrying about it. God reward you for that little reminder, if for no one else other than me... Although I hope there are more.

            Thank you bro.

......... To thine ownself be true .......... You are responsible for your actions and not those of others .......... The giving is on you ........ Their intentions are on them .......... I've been scammed before but don't feel bad about it because my intentions were for good. I usually give to the guy on the street corner on the way to work .......... But it's a piece of fruit and not money. I'm not looking for a reward from anyone ....... Not even from God ......... The good feeling that I might have helped someone is reward enough for me.

I am glad to hear this was real, I have worked in the customer service field all of my life. You must believe in yourself and what it is you do provides a service to help your clients. I am there with Mustafa, I try to be cautiously optimistic, but I have to say, after hearing and seeing what is happening in this world and this country, skepticism almost comes natural. Just like the person that stands at the street corner with a sign that says, " homeless, please help feed children". Then mistakenly watch that person get into their Cadillac Escalade and drive away. We need to be cautious, and in charge of our own actions. If and act of kindness makes us feel good, then by all means follow your heart.
