Hi all,

We had a great Maryland Day last Sunday in the new South River Farms Park on the south shore of the South River in Anne Arundel County. The Capital came out for the day:

Right now SRFP would be a heroic carry through 80 yards of sometimes soggy woods to Brickhouse Cove. However, SRFP is 8 miles round trip from Homeport Farm Park and 8 miles round trip from Beverly-Triton Beach Park so it's a viable rest stop.

For now SRFP is open to drive-in park visitors 7 am to 2:30 pm non-holiday weekdays. If you would like weekend and longer hours, email Steve Schuh, the County Executive, at exschu00@aacounty.org and Rick Anthony, the Director of Recreation & Parks, at RPANTH49@aacounty.org
