    I decided with the warm weather predicted that it might be worth a shot to look for some early season LM or maybe a snakehead if my luck was lucky. No dice on any of those but I did find some hefty yellow perch. I didn't really spend much effort trying for them....I just dragged some minnows on a double bottom rig behind me while I pedaled around working the shoreline for bass. I was surprised that more than one of them took both the minnows on my rig. I also got some nice pullage from a channel cat and a pair of blue kitties
    (one of which was a good 20+)

    The perch were both males and females, and had all spawned out already. Made a nice dinner this evening.
