  • Question: American made Hip-waders

Looking for an advise on decent quality hip waders, that will last a few years. Can any of you guys recommend a brand/company that manufactures here in the U.S. or in Europe? I personally have no issues with Chinese-made products, but this is for my fishing buddy, who apparently had bunch of leaking waders.

I don't know about hip waders, but Simms makes great chest waders that can be rolled down to waist high. Made in Bowsman Montana.

I bought a pair of field and stream waders at dicks sporting goods a few years ago thinking "these will be good for a season or so while I save up for nicer ones"
well 4 years later I am still using them with no problems! they have gone with me to Montana a few times and Arkansas once plus all my trout fishing in md and va. 'WHEN' I buy a new set they will be the orvis convertible waders, but I have been pleasantly surprised by the quality of them.
