So I made a big decision today, I handed down my Ascend fs12T to my younger brothers and bought a Jackson Cuda. Man Im stoked for this weekend to get it out on the water and start rigging it!

Don't need reverse for trolling. Reverse would be nice for working close to shore though. I've lost interest in fishing so close to shore or structure where that would be needed though. I can work the pilings of the bay bridge, just let the tide/current work as my reverse.Originally posted by kdkilbo View PostNow the rigging has to start. Both outback n slayer had there goods like the outback has four rod holders to were slayer one but slayer has rev were were outback dontHobie fleet:

Had a paddle, went to peddle, back to paddle... The PA was great and so is hands free, however my knees suck, I wanted a more versatile all around yak that wasnt as much a pain to get around by myself. Plus its just something about paddling that I like better, not a knock on peddling but I just feel like im really "kayak fishing", seems like everything is upgrading and evolving and I kind of just like the good old fashion paddling and fishing feel.

Congrats on the Cuda 12. My knees are bad as well, can't even ride a bike so peddling is out, and I really enjoy paddling. But just in case I get tire or get into a head wind....... I added this.
