Sit in on the bay?

Hi all! I have a 10 ft sit-in angler kayak that I love using for lakes and rivers. I was wondering if it would be safe to take out on the bay? Maybe try jigging the bridge at Sandy Point. Thoughts?

It all depends on the day and conditions..... I generally wouldn't suggest a sit in if you are out alone, especially if it is rough out. If it were me, I would stay closer to shore. (even a day that seems nice and calm can turn turbulent quickly)
