Wye river intel?

Will be spending a couple days on the Wye river this weekend. What might I find in that area - Stripers? Will be fishing with my daughter some and bottom fishing may be best with her. From what I'm hearing may be a bit early for perch? I appreciate any suggestions you may have.

you could try grass shrimp on the bottom for perch . they are beginning to show up . plenty of small stripers around . i use to catch some big catfish in the upper part of the river

Found some schoolie stripers over the weekend 16-22". They liked flinchin minnow in white/chartruse with a 3/8" jig head. Also caught a few on yozuri crystal minnow. All on the troll. Could not find any Perch.
