We can paddle to the Second Annual Riverfest at Discovery Village THIS Saturday 6/6/15 in Shady Side south of Annapolis in Anne Arundel County by launching from Shady Side Park. I especially like Riverfest because there are shade trees AND good BBQ.

New This Year at Riverfest 2015 in South County!
Arrive at Riverfest 2015 by kayak, canoe or SUP! Park at Shady Side Park THIS Saturday 6/6/15 and launch your cartop vessel onto Parish Creek. Land at the small lagoon behind Discovery Village, pay the festival admission and enjoy a day by the water with the Riverkeeper and his friends.
Warning, please: The big workboats will fill Parish Creek for the 2 pm Blessing of the Fleet. Be sure you're out of Parish Creek before that big boat parade begins.
Shady Side Park has 27 feet of shoreline. Here's how to find it:
