South river farm park

Has anybody tried launching here yet?

At this time, it would be very hard to,launch. I'm was there for the opening and had to,walk over 1/2 mile from parking lot,to,water. No real launching area as of yet.

Do you mean homeport farm park? I scouted it a coupple weeks ago. Bring a cart, but it is easily accessed.

I'm thinking of the park on the South shore of the south river. Beverly Triton Beach is nice but its a long paddle to get into the south river to be protected from the winds or fish the deep holes or rip rap. I've heard its a bit of a haul down a hill to get to a beach to launch at the south river farm park but didn't know if that's from a guy hauling a PA or got back problems etc...

I guess I'll just need to stop by and check for myself and let everyone know.
