I fished rocky gorge, but put in at Supplee last week. Water was about. 81-82 degree. I thought more fish would be shallow but I guess they have found structure in deep water. Did manage 3 fish. One was 18" and very chunky. Had a weird underbite though. Good luck out there

Nice job! 7:26 AM or PM? Looks like the thermocline has settled in around 18 ft down from your Lowrance reading.Olive Trophy 126 - Moored at Rocky Gorge Scott's Cove

I was there sunday from noon till 5. 1st time I ever launched at Supplee Lane.
Went to the right towards the dam checking the area out. Picked up a 21 incher
At the 1st lay down I stopped at. Landed 6 for the day. Beautiful day to be out there.

How big is bigger? I think the average pike we run into are 20-30 inches.Olive Trophy 126 - Moored at Rocky Gorge Scott's Cove

Here's a pic of a 34 inch one from Rocky Gorge in this DNR report. It was caught in the spring though:

I read online that the 20-30 inch juveniles can tolerate warm water better than the bigger ones. I'm going to try slow rolling some spinnerbaits with extra weight clamped on for them next time I get a chance to go there.Olive Trophy 126 - Moored at Rocky Gorge Scott's Cove

Rocky Gorge has a ton of cold feeder streams which empty into the back of coves, and I've seen people post reports of the pike being caught in summer on bass stuff like 3/8 oz spinnerbaits and squarebills so fishing deep might not be completely necessary.Olive Trophy 126 - Moored at Rocky Gorge Scott's Cove
