I am totally "in". Last year was my first time ever fishing from a kayak, fishing in the Chesapeake bay, or even being IN a kayak; and it was a lot of fun. This year I have my own kayak and a little more experience.. I have even caught a fish with it.
I do not know this Mr. Beam you speak of but I may bring my friend Mr. Morgan (he is a captain in a foreign navy).
I will also bring my "turtle ladder" in case it is rough water.
People who use the word "literally" wrong literally kill me.
Come one, come all! We have lots and lots of new and exciting sponsors this year. I promise you will not go home empty handed and without a smile on your face!
Ty Ryan. I see Matapeake looks like right next to Camp Wright. I had seen on map just never been there. That looks like probably best option. Will do one of those two then I'm sure. Appreciate your help. Bob
I have been told the folks at Anglers that a QA annual permit won't work here for cartop kayaks as the only parking is for trailers or day users of the fishing pier. A $10 daily pass will work however.
AM I THE ONLY ONE WHO CAN'T SLEEP!!??? haha, but no really. i am truly looking forward to meeting 100 other kayak fishermen. if i win something its a total bonus. I'm gonna be smiling the entire time and having a blast and thats all that matters to me....besides fishing new waters. i've never fished anywhere north if the Patuxent River besides Jug bay on the Patuxent. i am also really interested in seeing in person all the mods folks do to their Yaks!!! see you all there

Time is ticking down folks to Register for this fun event..... The Potluck looks awesome as it is coming together. This will be a treat especially for you who are new to kayak fishing or the tournament. This is the only tournament with a prize for a crab along with the different species of fish, so do not forget to throw you crab cages overboard and land yourself a winning crustacean.

Can anyone confirm this?
Annual permit covers Matapeake. Not sure what they are talking about.
