I got off at 3 it the water 3:30 I don't even know what the tide was. I hit 4 out of 5 off my usual spots, a few in the first two spots DSCN0478.jpg the third spot 10+ DSCN0483.jpg I even had some company DSCN0476.jpg My total for the evening was 10 perch over 10, 2 over 11 and this guy DSCN0480.jpg. When I was into them DSCN0481.jpg I tried 6 different lures and ended up staying with my rooster tail DSCN0485.jpg. And dos this look familiar last week from Alan DSCN0484.jpg

Nice perch catches.
That one over 12 inches is especially good.
I had three deer watching me yesterday when I fished the Severn. They were close and very calm about it and seemed to realize that I was no threat to them in my kayak. They were at the very bottom of the big red clay cliff that you see to the right as you head east on the Route 50 bridge. I wondered how they got to the bottom of the cliff without falling in. I often see deer close to the brackish water in in the Bay and its tributaries. Yet I can't imagine that they drink the water.Mark
