dont be mad. we're just testing the waters with it right now, so we'll see. the more the site grows, the more expensive things get, who would have thought? lol. i hate popups, and crazy amounts of ads too, but hopefully these wont be too annoying, trying to keep them at a minimum.

Hey ........ No need to apologize ....... Seriously ....... This site is great and it costs money. I don't think anybody is mad ..... Especially since they don't have to pony up

Yea I say go for it. You all have developed an awesome thing here at Snaggedline. I say some ads here and there that turn into a couple bones for you all is appropriate!

Click the ads guys!!! I ran a site for a little while and for every ad clicked I was making $1-$3, per click. Each ad type is different in the payout, but it can be great if people click which is not generally what people do.

Guys, put up a donation button and we'd all be glad to chip in. I don't want a free ride on your dime. I'm glad to have a place like this.

I volunteered funds and made a suggestion to allow use to subscribe long ago and they said no ........ Subscription suggestion is still on the table at least for me

Oh ........ And also sometimes those ads are good ......... I bought a MIG welder from one of the banner ads on Tidalfish I think ........ I had been thinking about 1 for awhile and Eastwood had 1 for $199 that had pretty good write ups, infinite power and wire speed adjustments, included tank gauges, hand held mask and a decent welding gun, 60 day trial and a 3 year warranty.

I don't mind the ads at all! This is an awesome site/forum and I would be very disappointed if it went away. I also do most of my shopping online so clicking on a link to check something out is no problem at all.
