Another big Bull shark caught in the Chesapeake Bay, Capt. Boog Powell caught this one over the weekend...don't dangle your feet overboard in the chum slick...the number 2 human attacker, world-wide is the Bull shark...

Looks like I should be putting my catches in a cooler instead of a stringer from the looks of this.

The pound netters catch anything and everything in the Bay. I would love to go out with a pound netter off Tilghman or below just to see the variety of the catch. They release most of what they can't sell unharmed unless it's an 8.5 foot bull shark I guess.

Pounding netting is probably the most ancient form of commercial fishing that is still practiced. It's damn hard work setting it up the first of the season, but it still seems to be fairly productive.
