    FWIW here is the link to the manual. Looking through it, it seems to be quite thorough.. but as noted still very un-intuitive.

        mine from today.. sailed the Hobie today 8mph with the current + wind + a golf umbrella for a sail and peddling as fast as I could

        and I caught these. yes the date is wrong. the internal battery is dead in the camera and I am tired of setting that stupid thing every time I change batteries. And they want more to replace the battery than the camera costs to replace

                Mine registers miles but they are nautical miles which are about 800 feet longer than a statute mile.
