Sheepshead, spades, Cobia, reds still around, limits of flounder out of oyster, croaker ......... etc etc etc ........... also Plantation light is close to Cape Charles so you don't have to go that far for spades......... just need to find a launch pt south of Cape Charles .......Originally posted by Redfish12 View PostComment

I was down there on Fathers Day. Go to the Fisherman's Island wildlife refuge. There is a kayak launch there that will put you just east of Fisherman's Island. Some nice tidal creeks there. Unfortunatly our results didn't quite match the reports.....The wind really blew us around.Comment

Spades are around the pilings of the bridge and Plantation light, flounder ... bridge ans the channels around oyster and the shipping channel edges around the shipping channel around cape charles and the reefs like the cell ........ croaker same as flounder ......... cobia around Latimer and high span of bridge ........ not sure about Fisherman's Island ...... I think most use a creek from there to get to the ocean
Not an expert by any means but I have fished the area by boat ....... biggest flounder was 30" ...........
