  • Who packs a hammock in their yak as S.O.P.?

All my wants! A bit pricey indeed but damn if wouldn't add to the mid-day nap to catch the afternoon bite on an all day yakkin' trip! It busts down small enuff to fit in the hull of the hobie, out of sight and out of mind.

I found it while browsing the manufacturers site for the "T-bone" Truck bed extender.

NOOOOPE!! Not paying $300+ for a hammock..I have the Enos Jungle Nest and that was $100 and made out of the same 66 material and has the bug net built in.. for $300 I could have the stand too, I'm cool with that. And I have my kelty bag to keep warm with.

I had a bug net and a piece of cardboard for my month long "camping trip" in Ethiopia. These fancy hammocks are just showing off. I'll stick with my small Kelty "3-season" tent that is good for year round camping...mummy bag and a pad makes it comfortable sleeping when the snow is blowing on top of a hill in January around here.
