  • Pfd?

I have a Cabelas guide PFD that is inflatable by CO2 cartridge. I pretty much have come to hate it. What do you guys like? I am not so worried about price if it is really comfortable. The one I have rubs the back of my neck. Thanks.

Are you looking to get a traditional foam PFD, or a new CO2?

For traditional, I've been using a Stohlquist for many years. They offer a big selection, to include some "fishing" vests.

I've been using a Stohlquist for the past 6-months on my Hobie PA-14. I really like it. I don't know I have it on when kayak fishing.
Comfort is the key to a PFD.

What Plastic Boat said. I love mine!

Be sure to get the bright orange instead of the green. Been seen is critical on the water!

I have the Kokatat Bahia Tour. I like it because it's comfortable and I don't mind wearing it. The pockets are really nice and it is extremely adjustable. I also like that there is a waist clip so it can still be secured to you without having to zipper it which is nice in warm weather. They also have a few that have hydration packs like a camelbak.

Thanks again, I will be getting a new one soon. I will be looking at the ones mentioned above. I was hoping to stay with a Co2 vest but I am open to anything that is comfortable and not super hot to wear. Thanks again.

NRS chinook. It's lightweight, has lots of pockets, and has a high back. I forget I'm wearing it sometimes.

It was warm today, with very little breeze where we were. I wore my PFD all day, but left the zipper open.

Which one do you have? Is it the Fisherman?
I was wondering how well those "work surface" pockets do.
