Please ! Jet or Grilled BLOCK the ADULT.. Date me Ads...
I know how Gxxgle Adsence works... I block all these type of advertisements.. on my numerous websites.
I don't go to porno sites in my personal browsing... or even anything close to it...
As mentioned, since I do use Adsence on my own sites... and I block them... and I often, if not numerous times a day check my own sites for data and this and that...
It is rather offensive to keep seeing Adult "Meet Ups" on this site.

YES... you guys are going to have to visit this site... and record and figure out how to block this advertising..

I certainly don't visit anything close to what relate me to these things... maybe they (Gxxxgle see's me as a lonely old fart)... and spits out these advertisements... But I am quite secure in my point in life... well except for the arthritis and other dings and mishaps...

So.. in all the websites I use, my own and others... WHY AM I CONFRONTED WITH THIS UGGGLLLLY ADVERTISMENTS.... ????

AND.. unless I am otherwise informed... none of my thousands of users that visit my sites, DO NOT... see these type of ads...

I hope the rest of the users aren't seeing these ads... it really is... UGLY.

What porn site ......... I only saw a dating app ........ Not a porn site. I didn't find it offensive. Also, they pay for this site. I haven't used the site but I did buy some stuff on the Eastwood site

The advertisements are no problem.

If sexually explicit ads are what the owners want... and generate income, well more power to them.

I DO NOT promote these ads on my websites.

I certainly WOULD NOT, be the owner of this website.. and be VERY KNOWN.... to the government agencies,
to have any kind of advertisements that might even be construed as sexually explicit or enticing to minors.

I would like to see the ads go away, completely. If keeping the site alive needs funding, let's have a donation set up. The ads are a distraction and I've yet to see one appropriate to my web surfing interests.

If the ads help pay for hosting the site, they better damn well be family and work safe. I'll never click on a "dating" [insert country here] site. Seems wildly inappropriate for a kayak aligned interest.

I guess I could also just stop coming to snaggedline...that might be drastic, but certainly an option; nobody wants to hear reports from me anyway.

There are ads, inappropriate ads and appropriate ads. They don't really bother me but don't think some of the inappropriate ads need to be on this forum.

I'm not very computer savy. About a year or more ago my 30+year old son did a few keystrokes on my computer and what ever he did it eliminated ALL adds on this site as well as many others... and I mean I receive NONE at all! He may have just toggled an "add blocker" icon... dunno.

Exactly which ones are you talking about. The only thing I've seen were the Asian and Russian dating sites. There is nothing porno with those ads. Shoot ........ You see more anytime you go to the beach or pool .......... And several of us have posted worse and anytime you turn on the TV. What am I missing

Well, I read your every post with interest Cowpokey.

In general, I am not sure what the problem is with the ads here are. I've never seen an unsavory ad on the site myself.

If this is found to be a real problem, perhaps another Internet ad marketing outfit could be considered for more appropo ads, such as those targeting our fishing and general outdoor interests. IMO, going to a subscription based or donation model for needed funding would not be viable.

I have not seen anything inappropriate either. Ads are generally based on your stored cookies, try deleting those.

And I will gladly take all the "inappropriate" advertising over paying for the site. It's the internet, what do you expect.

I agree, but I am not losing sleep over seeing a stupid ad for a mattress or a $600 juicer or whatever either.

In general, in the three + years I've been frequenting and contributing reports now and then to Snaggedline, I've noticed less reports from the usual veterans like yourself. Not sure why that is; maybe it's that last year and to some extent this year was such a bust fishing wise, due likely to two brutally cold winters; no reds or specs to speak of, and stripers being tougher to locate.

At least crabbing has picked up and w perch are still a skunk breaker. Hopefully, fishing will pick up again in another month or so, and the reports will start flowing again.

It's dog days of summer now.

A bit of advice for us Single Guys, from experience, stay away from the Russian dating sites. Enough said.
