I just checked the Thomas Point Light Buoy from NOAA. Since Saturday 9/12 the water temp has dropped three degrees from 79F to 76F. This marks the beginning of prime time for stripers and blues coming into the tributaries chasing baitfish to fatten up for the winter.
Good luck to all those who can get away to fish during this more active pattern.
