Thanks Gary! I had a feeling you might be holding back (like last year!) and I had to go find a bigger fish. I dropped one Monday night at 28" and I kept kicking myself for it! Close competition again this year and happy to see more participation!
    Used to fish more.

      Well done guys.

I only got out twice but I got out because of this tournament.

Congrats to the winner and thanks to Doug for putting this together. Can you post all the results?

Sorry, Andrew. I will try to do a better job of that next year, but this year I only kept track of the 1st-3rd place winners. I do know that Daolai and Sparky were virtually dead even for the 4th and 5th spots. I was somewhat glad I wasn't forced to make that call because I might have had to get out a microscope to determine the winner. Dimo was in 6th, I believe.

I was talking with Matt a little bit at the CCA Tournament and he suggested I contact someone about an online scoring system handled by a 3rd party. I will look into that next year if this and other online tournaments continue to grow. In addition to the time savings and accuracy improvement; Ill be a great way for everyone to see exactly where they finished.

            Redfish12's winning bag

            Fish 1

            Fish2

            Heminway's 2nd place bag

            Fish1

            Fish 2

            Reelaxin's 3rd place bag

            Fish 1

            Fish 2

I actually took an additional .25 inches off of Reelaxin10's 2nd fish (sorry, dude. haha) because the mouth was pretty far open; however, the 1/4 of an inch didn't make a difference at all. I just wanted to clarify in case anyone was wondering. It was tougher to score these than I thought it would be. I know how hard it is to have everything come together and get a good pic, so as long as there wasn't fish grips in the fish's mouth or it wasn't hugely open, I measured most how they were given to me.

Once again, thank you guys and way to showcase the great fall kayak fishing the MD has to offer!

This was painful to watch! I've been there before and it sucks. It's so hard to get everything set up and take the picture while not having the fish escape. I'm impressed you didn't break your board in frustration. Lol

I figured it out later and printed out a smaller picture and wrapped it in packing tape and taped it to my board...
