Hit Triadelphia yesterday. In preparation of the dam repairs they continue to drop the water level. As you can see, the fishing deck at the Triadelphia Rd launch is no longer fishable. It was a real slough through the mud to get back in too. I'd recommend using the Greenbridge launch until they finish the dam work. It looked like was still in good shape. Right off the bat I got a bite and was surprised to see about a 30 inch northern pike when I got it to the boat. I was surprised because it didn't really put up much of a fight. I thought it was a small bass and was unprepared to land it. Fish grip wasn't handy and I hesitated before deciding to use the Chesapeake leg scoop. That moment of indecision gave it the opportunity to get one more head shake and it threw the hook. I kept trying to find him again but no luck. I did end up landing 3 scrappy bass in the 12-14 inch range though so it was a great day for me.
