weekend fishing not looking good

Just checked out the forecast. Looks like cool weather, rain, and worst of all high winds (excess of 20mph).. bummer.

I think I saw a potential for a hurricane, that can't be good for Kayak fishing.

They were briefly calling for wind gusts over 100 mph at cbbt Saturday... Wind forecast aside I think its safe to say the fishing is gonna be jacked up along the entire east coast for a while. Painful.

I could totally see CowPokey out there battling the 50 foot waves and 100mph winds in his outback... I can even see that little beer flag he has maddly flapping in the tempest.

living in OC, & based upon the forecasts, I may get to use the yak but not places I've ever gone before, namely some of the roads... just wondering rules of the road and such, who has right of way, a kayak or a truck on a flooded road?

Went out today, launched at Jonas Greene and caught 3 rock. First was 18" and the last two were slightly over 21". Had to do it today with the forecast....

That made me chuckle. I am getting desperate to fish, I was really hoping to get on the water this weekend, haven't fished in two weeks...

Fish are already wet, and most likely used to it...lol

If we get all the rain predicted they will the open the spill gates on the Conowingo dam. That's going to make the Susquhanna Flats a mess for awhile.
