I will keep this short. Some of the best people I have been around are fisherman. The absolute best people have been kayak fishermen. I started kayak fishing July 2014. I have met some great people from this forum. I have been wanting to get my daughter on the water in a kayak. Someone on this forum made a little girls dream come true. annikakayak.JPG

My only problem now is that I get a kayak for her in mid November and she is begging me take her out. The water temps are a little concerning for me considering her lack of experience. I may take her to Mariner Point Park for a quick paddle on flat water. Looking forward to spring....Tarpon 120, no electronics, no pedals.
Tarpon 100, the karma boat.

I agree that we need a bring a son/daughter/kid meet and greet or other such event......I say early June perch-o-rama at Dennis Point Marina. Those of us
with extra yaks or tandems could help out. I got the yak tow down last summer

I use an old seat from my ocean kayak that I click in facing backwards behind my vantage seat in the outback. The other method I use a lot is to just tether another boat behind mine and tow it around with her inside . (I wouldn't recommend this for really little ones)
