Gonna drift for some dogfish and probably try and snag some croaker or spot. They should be moving up this way by now. Be back with the report this evening.

Never really got around to dogfish drifting. I paddled just south of the Verrazano Bridge and immediately started catching spot on fishbites. Continued to drift around the bridge on both sides catching spot, small croaker (6''), and one small Black Sea Bass (6''). Was probably out for 2-3 hours then a storm with thunder rolled in so I headed back to shore.
I was fun... I was content with catching spot on LW tackle and I kept 6. Overall probably caught 20-25 fish.
