hey fellas, me and my cousin ( topwater ) went to the susky out of port deposit , couple miles below conawingo dam. got there early and saw lots of fish moving in the shallows , but couldnt catch anything. at about 5 my cousin caught two keeper stripers at 20 and 22 inches. moved to a new rapid and caught 3 stripers at 20 , 24 and 29 inches in 5 casts ! thought i was gona get yanked out of my kayak. that is my biggest catch in a kayak. those lip grippers are the bomb ! was useing a broken back rebel in blue and silver.

there are a few spots just north of port deposit that are just big enough for a couple pickup trucks , you just park and you can carry the yaks about 50 yards to the water. caution only go out if they are running a couple small units at the dam ,
