Either way, we are old.

We definitely like to fish.

We’re all males although we each agree that members of the opposite sex are welcome and we’re certainly open to auditions.

But we rarely curse beyond the confines of our kayaks and then only when lures snag, knots fail, trolling lines cross or our arthritis acts up.

I have it on good authority that Santa will comply.

I like that it uses a heavy wire and long hook on the 1/8 oz. cavity. I think that will be good for attaching a Fat Sam when I chase pickerels.

The larger cavities will give me more striper trolling options.

Your flutter jig looks good. Nice job tying the flash on the on the treble hook.

I took some jigs on the water today that I made from my new (JRS-5-A) Do-It mold. But I never got them wet.

I caught a pickerel fairly fast on the fly and then didn't switch rods. I got two more in the boat and lost three others. Darned fly rod is addictive.

I'll test the jigs next trip.

I was jigging WP with them in 20-30 ft last weekend. Hooked a nice striper with the 1/2 oz style jig. Had a wimpy split ring on the treble.
