Decided to put one rod down, the one with the warm, to grab the other one to toss a spinner bait. Didn't use the rod holder..........If anyone comes across a St. crois with a Penn stratus (I think) PM me please. It was a great rig that caught me many fish.

Hate hearing about lost gear. If it doesn't float it needs to be attached to the kayak or person. Cheap pipe insulation* and a couple zip ties would have meant just hosing it off when you got home.

*I use a piece 8" long for 1/2" pipe, zip tie it just above the rod handle. You can protect 8-9 rods for less than $5 total.
