Facebook is one of the quickest way to destroy a forum. Leave it the way it is.

Posting pictures is simple. Add them as an attachment or learn how to use the forum tools and/or code. There are plenty of free sites that will host your pictures then you can add them anywhere you want in a post by using the [img] tags.

I have to disagree with you. How would it destroy a group of fisherman. yes there are spammers but you can filter them out. Pictures is a hassle to get on here. Thats the reason i dont post much on here. trust me, I have tons of pictures since i go fishing everyday. I catch about 100 fish a day.

I will not go through another site to be able to post on here.

That was incredibly difficult, and I didn't use a host site.

If you like posting picture to Facebook, go there and post them. I have been part of a local wheeling club* for over 10 years, we had a very active forum for the first seven years I was a member, people started creating their own Facebook groups and all of the local forums dried up, lucky to see one new post a day from most of them. You can't sort topics on FB the way a forum lets things be posted in sections, and there's almost no way of finding a topic from months ago that you want to revisit; particularly things like kayak rigging, lure/tackle building.

*Now most of the Jeeps I see on the road have a windshield banner from the FB group that took over, and I would be willing to bet less than 5% of those Jeeps have ever left the pavement to do anything more challenging than cross someone's lawn.

I will not be getting into an argument with you about this. A screenshot of my mac is easily uploaded on here.

              * I own a JEEP. Did not know it was mandatory to take it off roading.

So is uploading a picture I took, from the hard drive on my Mac. If you want an easier way to upload pictures....never mind, you'll just find another excuse.

Yes, it is mandatory to take an off road vehicle, off road, in an off road club. What color is your Facebook Jeep club windshield banner?

Did I strike a nerve? Is your "Jeep" two wheel drive? You are a member of the FB Jeep club, though...right? I noticed you've been a registered member here longer than I have, and your post count is a whopping 58 (at this moment), you care more about posting pictures on FB than sharing anything with your fellow anglers on Snaggedline....obviously.

What "app" are you using to surf the forum on your phone? You know you can post pictures directly from "Tapatalk", on your phone right? Saves that whole problem of needing to jump through hoops of uploading them to your computer first...I've been known to post pictures from the water, live reports and all. Maybe you've seen those in the past.

If you use the tapatalk app you can upload pictures straight from your phone onto the forum. For daily fishing updates, I agree that Facebook is easier but I enjoy the forum for everything else. Filters out a lot of the bs associated with Facebook these days. Just my opinion.

Nope, us Navy guys can take much much more. No, my jeep is not a 2WD. You clearly stated that jeeps are off road vehicles, therefore i asked why do they make 2WD jeeps. Yes, between being deployed and all I had not had much chance to post stuff up on here. But recently I have been offering people to take them to the fish. I know you have seen the posts cause you seem to be involved in everything. I wasn't aware my angling skills were judged by the amount of posts I have on this site

I spent plenty of time deployed during my 24 years in the military...lots of that "outside the wire" in harms way...in case you can comprehend that. I used the off road club as an example, you continue to use your willful lack of comprehension as a reason to argue about things.

This is a fishing group and a place to share those experiences, information, how-to, and crazy enough pictures too. As I mentioned in my first response to this thread, if you like Facebook so much, go post there.

Edit add: I also mentioned previously that you can post directly from your phone using Tapatalk, but you carefully skipped over that to argue some more. I will add you to the list of people I would never fish with, and will not go out of my way to provide you with information or advice.
