OK Boys, I read through this, and am not a moderator, but a kayak fisher who enjoys this site tremendously since I first got on board. It is like no other site I have been a member of. I enjoy the information shared by those who have the same passion I do, kayak fishing. I enjoy learning from the more experienced who are more than willing to share their passion. I will leave my feeling about facebook out of this post. We have moderators that make those decisions. There are those on this site that have proven themselves among the rest of us to be a beneficial contributor to this site and this sport. I have fished with some of them, and look forward to fishing with the rest of them.

Since my short time on this site I have learned to absorb the information and use it to improve my experience enjoying this sport. I have never attacked another no matter of my feelings. That is not what we are about. We are a community that share, fish and enjoy a sport together. There is no place on this site for those who wish to change what has made this site successful and worked for all of us. If you join this site to cause controversy, go somewhere else. Because somewhere else will eliminate you from your membership.

Leave your attitudes behind, leave your boasting behind, we dont care how many fish you catch in a day, we only care about your reports, fish or no fish, we care about your experiences and your passion for this sport. Kayak fishing continues to grow year after year. From what I have read here, we are all from the same mold. Our passion for what we enjoy is our main goal.

So in closing, if you came hear to pick a fight, I can give you some other sites that may better suit you. If you came here to enjoy what we all enjoy, then you found the right place.

Let's simmma down now... Facebook has been known to really destroy forums, plus it can be challenging to find past posts or see season trends. Instead of being able to search for information (like waders vs dry suit or what rod I need for kayak fishing in the chesapeake bay) you end up answering the same question over and over as new people join. Spots get burnt, feelings get hurt, people make private goups, etc.

This forum has remained helpful, friendly, and free of most all bs. Let's keep a good thing going!
        Used to fish more.

As a 68 year old Yak fisherman, I don't consider myself the sharpest pencil in the box when it comes to technology. However, I have never found it difficult to post pictures on this site. Blind squirrell I guess. I found it fairly simple and love the entire structure of this forum compared to others. I have visited other Facebook and Google + fishing/kayaking pages that seem difficult to navigate and search. I guess I am now officially an OLD MAN, but my vote is to NOT CHANGE A THING.

He said "outside the wire" and "in harms way" with an USAF tag, we have found the problem. Haha, I'm only kidding Cowpokey.

I think USAF guys get hazardous duty pay if the golf course is more than a mile away...

Unlike most of the USAF folks "outside the wire" I wasn't doing convoy duty. Semper Fi Devil Dawg!

If I was a golfer, I would agree with that. Ever seen all those ponds they put on those things? Man that would be some good fishing if it wasn't so dangerous from "Fore!".

Golf course fishing is awesome. I've pulled some big bass out of golf course ponds.
