2016 Goals

My goals:
- Fish the flats for spring beasts
- 1st Tautog, Bull Red @ CBBT
- 1st fishing road trip for Wahoo, Sailfish down south (hopefully in a few weeks)
- Meet more people, share more stories and ideas
- Have fun!

1. Kayak fish with my son more.(Got his yak in November and he is rearing to go)PHOTO_20151127_143331.jpg
2. Catch the elusive 30"+ striper.
3. Do an overnight camping/fishing trip.
4. Participate in a fishing tournament.
5. Catch several species of fish.
6. Take a couple of friends and kids kayak fishing
7. Continue to fish and learn from the OGWLTF Crew and fish with Whenican again and more members from this forum!New to the game but not a rookie!

1. avoid death or dismemberment. (use anti-exposure suit for winter fishing; use gas engine lanyard; consider using Torqeedo lanyard more - those blades are sharp and spin pretty fast).
2. avoid DNR seizing craft. (keep Bob Marley music low - this always gets them sniffing around).
3. not let other boneheads like me bother me. seriously, everybody gets in the way accidentally or on purpose some times. try to remember there are more than one fish in the sea, more than one spot on the lake, more than one fishing day during any peak period, but only one aged, cholesteral-soaked aorta keeping me dangling over the water on this beautiful blue planet.

I have a few goals for this year.
1. Check out a pond that I've seen in Google earth that has a mile plus portage
2. Shark fishing from a kayak.
3. Land 8' shark from boat.
