Greetings. Not a kayak fisherman yet but canoe fished for 35+ years. Main reason for joining now is I have two grandsons ages 11 and 13 who just got fishing kayaks for Christmas. I got them a couple of nice spinning outfits to go along with them. They live within 500 yards of the Magothy and will be fishing out of Whitehurst marina. They love to fish and have been using my old Old Town canoe for a couple of years. I'll be trailing along with them in the Old Town this spring. I've given them this website and hope they check in to get some good information and tips from you guys. if I can get them to register I'll post their handles.
I hope to get a nice fishing kayak myself but must wait until spring when I put a Ranger bass boat up for sale and hopefully sell it.
