Ten kayak fishing things to do during the blizzard:
1. Reorganize the tackle in your Plano boxes; group plastics by type and color; set aside rusted hooks and chipped jig heads for replacement or repainting
2. Clean out the hatches in your kayaks (My center hatch contains expired licenses, leader remnants, snack wrappers, and torn plastics.)
3. Wash the stiff, stinky fish towel that has been in your kayak for months
4. Top off the charge on your FF battery
5. Replace treble hooks on crank baits with single hooks
6. Clean and lubricate your reels.
7. Tie flies and/or bucktail jigs
8. Retie short and nicked leaders
9. Buy tackle or something for your kayak on-line
10. Pray the power doesn’t go out so you can accomplish any or all of the above
Any additions?
